Oversee day‑to‑day interior fit‑out or renovation work on site, ensuring work is done safely, on time, and to the required design and quality standards. You’ll coordinate teams, manage workflows, and keep stakeholders updated so interiors are delivered exactly as planned.

Key responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate on‑site interior crews, subcontractors, and labor; give clear instructions and monitor workmanship, schedule adherence, and progress.
  2. Conduct frequent site inspections to identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and make sure interior works comply with regulations and protocols.
  3. Review interior drawings, finishes, materials, and specifications to confirm installation aligns with design, safety, and budget requirements; recommend changes to improve efficiency or quality.
  4. Coordinate delivery, storage, and use of materials and equipment for interior works, including carpentry, flooring, painting, fixtures, lighting, and related MEP interfaces.
  5. Track daily progress, attendance, incidents, and quality issues; maintain accurate site records and reports for project leadership.
  6. Assist in resolving on‑site issues or conflicts, support corrective actions, and communicate status or needs to management and design teams.

Qualifications

  1. Relevant education or training in interior construction, interior design technology, civil/construction, or related field; formal construction training or diploma preferred.
  2. Proven experience supervising interior fit‑out, renovation, or finishing work on construction sites.
  3. Strong knowledge of building codes, interior safety regulations, and practical construction tools or equipment.
  4. Ability to read and interpret interior drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  6. Certifications such as first aid/CPR, site safety trainings, or similar credentials are a plus.

  1. Interior works delivered on schedule with minimal safety incidents and high finish quality.
  2. Clear, timely communication and documentation, enabling smooth handover to clients or operations.
  3. Efficient coordination among trades, suppliers, and design stakeholders, with consistent adherence to plans and budgets.
