We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to handle design concepts, space planning, material selection, and project coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and layouts based on client requirements.
- Create detailed drawings, 2D plans, 3D renders, and presentations.
- Select materials, finishes, color palettes, furniture, lighting, and décor.
- Conduct site visits to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Review and approve samples, mock-ups, and onsite workmanship.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and industry innovations.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio of residential/commercial projects.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar design tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior fit-out processes.
- Excellent creativity, communication, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Good visualization and detailing skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting and BOQ preparation.
- Experience working with contractors, carpenters, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and site-coordination abilities.
